how long do you think it will take for everything to be "sorted out" because i dont necissarily want to go through all the trouble of reverting my game unless it will take weeks before the addicts server is updated to 1.3

It will only take a few seconds to update. It's well worth it!

Tommy, we do not have an answer for your question. We use quite a few 3rd-party plugins to improve the SMP experience and we are at the mercy of the developers of these plugins when it comes to updates such as this one. We will be keeping a very close eye on all of the plugins we use and will let everyone know once we have a better idea of how long it'll be. It's pretty safe to say that we'll be staying at 1.2 for a little while.

Open finder and then click to go to your documents folder. Then click library. The app support folder will be in there

My minecraft automatically updated again.
Ill just play singleplayer for now and keep an eye out for server updates

I replaced it and it deleted my save file, thanks, do you know how long I worked on that. But oh no, I really wanted those hours of my life wasted, I wanted those 19 mb free on my computer, I really needed them you know? I HATE YOU ALL.

I have a backup, from 36 hours worth of work ago. Anyways can someone post their version file for 1.3 and their minecraft.jar for 1.3 so that I can actually play minecraft again.

And the pc one works on the Mac (if there's even a difference in the .jars). Have you given the one here a shot Ryd?

No, It wouldnt matter what jar I had its just that the Jar they have on the minecraft site under Linux acts as the launcher itself, so I Basically need the old launcher for linux not the jar, even though the launcher itself is the jar. So when I use the updated linux jar luacher it updates the Minecraft jar to 1.3. So yeah, You know what im saying?? Lol

When I log in now it doesnt say outdated server it say end of stream. What does that mean?

Pmurr, have you followed the steps on this thread?

1. Log in normally (make sure to uncheck remember password)
2. Drag new .jar into the bin folder and click replace
3. Restart Minecraft
4. Play!

Let us know if you're still having problems after trying that!
