Its good! Me and my friend (shadow9198) had an awesome time doing it over xbox live, and the controls are good,and the crafting is much more simple and quick! Oh,and now a new snapshot came out. 12w19a larger Biomes,specific names, a working nether and End, and Cocoa plants. Enjoy!

I don't think the Ender Chest will work out in SMP... They would all be linked, so if someone puts something valuable in a E-chest, someone can make another one and take it. It should only be used for extremely short term long distance trading.

(hey, wanna trade something? Sure, just let me get my enderchest)

And i cant wait to see the look on everyones faces when they realize it WASN'T such a good idea to slaughter the villagers...
 
Ok, heres a more in depth presentation, straight from the Minecraft Wiki development version history page.

Added Ender Chest.

On SMP, the Ender Chest's contents will be the same for all players on a server. [2]

Added Emerald.

Added Emerald Ore.

Added Villager Trading.

Made Buckets stackable.

Added Snow to Creative Inventory.

NPC Villages change style according to their biome.

Stars are more realistic.

They are now slightly smaller and slightly brighter. [3]

Changed Gravel texture.

Improved Options menu.

Added Pyramids.

Added a second Golden Apple made with Blocks of Gold.

After being consumed, the player receives 30 second Regeneration IV, plus Resistance and Fire Resistance for 5 minutes.

Sandstone Stairs

Dispensers will eject Water and Lava source blocks (from buckets)

Will also take water and lava source blocks if there is an empty bucket inside ( awesome! )

Boats will now pass through lilypads without breaking the boat; the lilypad drops as an item instead.

New command; /seed displays current world seed

Bug Fixes:

Removed Server Jar dependency in Single Player.

Notable bugs (Complete bug list):

Emerald Ore has the wrong texture.

Loading a world from a previous version corrupts it.

Generated structures are very buggy.

Villages in deserts spawn with stone half slabs on top of the blacksmith's. It would make more sense for Sand Half slabs to spawn on top of them.

New Golden Apple does not appear in the creative mode inventory screen.

Villager Trading for items worth more than one emerald doesn't work if you place the emeralds one by one.

Single player still thinks it requires server/minecraft_server.jar. A blank file with the same name can be used.

When generating a Superflat world, you will get chunk errors - there will be some chunks generated in default,
and the other are generated in superflat.

Pressing F2 to take a screenshot may crash your game and render your world unplayable.

Speaking of rail. You can now place rail down while in a minecart in the new snapshot. Jeb_ is making everything Efficiency V (Stupid joke but had to).

Oh yeah, forgot about that... maybe they would be world-specific because of multiverse inventories plugin, but you never know...
 
Can't wait for wooden slabs to actually behave like wood. So many times I only brought an axe :(
 
I think sand stone stairs are going to be huge
