The wall project will be starting today. sometime around 6pm est, 5central, 4 pacific.... i think i got those right?

it will be live streamed so anyone who gets lost can follow on http://www.minecraftaddicts.com/stream.php

remember vent for everyone for easier communication. we will be working on the north wall first.

Has all the cobble been collected?
 
Yeah! Cant wait! I havnt gotten to do anything this fun since I worked on the interstate...

I tried to donate some double-chests of cobble but needed the region permission :(

I was conscripted by lofp a couple months ago to make a model wall section in preparation for contribution to the building effort in both labor and materials. (I'm on that list, you just can't see me yet.)

It looks like that mantle has fallen to Fluffy now, so to fill in the gaps:

I've got an easy to build model with some additional positive features, but if you're married to the old design that's fine too. (Obviously if it's already been started then it's really moot.) Regardless, I'll be contributing labor and also supplying copious amounts of smooth slab, as well as more chests of cobble I care to count from the excavation of my dome (which is finally nearing completion, yay).

I've also got a really dense tree farm set up and banks of ovens for mass-producing more charcoal->smooth->slab that I've had built for a while for more or less this purpose. It's all designed for multiple people to be able to use it for constant production, so you can conscript some farm and workshop labor too if you want to or if we burn through materials faster than expected (as always).
