I bought minecraft in alpha around September. Didn't start playing multiplayer till around late October early November.
 
Bought minecraft late January. Got on the server in early February. Obviously, Beta.
 
I bought Minecraft in December (Alpha) after seeing X's Adventure on Youtube.
