Why does this always happen to me???

I'm being ignored all the time now. That's 1 reason I left my other server. Godcraft was just bad on me. Maybe i need a friend. I was offered by 2 poeple in Godcraft to be my friend cause I kept getting ignored all the time and 1 person being rude to me after asking every how they doing and stuff. Since the Godcraft's owner downgraded it back to alpha, it became outdated and I can't get on. He's doing this for a few weeks which sucks. I might as well not go back to Godcraft anymore. Minecraftaddicts seems to be beter, especially with the buildings and stuff.

Two of us asked what your question was, then you left a minute later without responding.

In a couple instances I have noticed guests being ignored repeatedly while admins keep talking though... I usually end up saying something at some point just to see how long it takes or if they're responded to. That didn't sit right.

More or less, admins and members are rather busy with some things.
Be it coding the site, updating the site, and or possibly the server.
Or perhaps helping a way for new players to seek out their world from spawn.

No one is really ignoring you. Most of the builders are wandering about building or stuff.
You just need to take some time out, and perhaps seek a few to be friends, or even help other builders out when they need help.
Not everyone will jump forth and scream pick me, to be a friend. Like the outside world, it takes time to make friends.
I barely talk to anyone except maybe CommanderFluffy, Lofp, Silence, and a few others. I usually try to help out all the time, even when I am undecided what to do for my own land.

1.) Garquille, I have notice someone saying something to me during that time. When you said I left, it's because java kicked me off the game. It happens every now and again.

Bradley, sorry if you felt I was ignoring you. I don't see every message because I'm working with a system that already floods me with data and it tends to flood the text channels too.

BTW, if you keep getting kicked off, try setting your draw distance to "Normal" instead of "Far", and avoid hitting the F key.

Also, I need to be clear with everyone. I have responsibilities to this server, but I'm not an admin, nor do I need to be one.

Maybe I would like to add that most text or even chat comments are from ventrilo conversations. If a admin is already focused on one subject be it in Vent or in text or in private not every one will see that they are busy. if you would like some time the best way is to def get on vent even if you dont have a mic this way the admin can talk to you and still work on what ever it is that some one else has asked for.

and I def remember helping you find old spawn so not sure what you might mean.

Garquille: if you feel that some one was ignored then you should let us know about it. some times if a user has already responded then there is no need for the admin to post about it. Bottom line I thought it was nice of you to help the few times people had questions and that the admins could not talk. but you should not judge with out knowing whats going on.

hey garquille i dont know if im part of theis conversation but i help alot of the noobs. when i am in game or in vent just say "hey fluffy got a minute" usually i will say ill finish whatever it is and get to you as soon as possible. do not spam the text chat but do remind me a few minutes later. so yea.. i dont know what else to say.

if we dont respond right away its simply because were busy.

EDIT: OH OH OH just noticed brad left the old server because he was ignored. ok so to get this post now... ok brad we do reply as fast as we can. and usually we dont ignore people. if you feel ignored cause your spamming then theirs a reason for the ignore for a little bit.

CommanderFluffy, that wasn't the only reason I left Godcraft. The MAIN reason I left is because the owner of Godcraft set the server back to Alpha, so it's outdated. I don't know how to get my Minecraft back to Alpha, I've tried several times. He was going to keep it on Alpha for a few weeks or so. I want to be on a good SMP server, but I'm NOT waiting weeks so I started looking for another good server. I found my way to a few, but then I saw the stuff on Minecraftaddicts and maybe this server will be my permanent SMP. Plus I got a SWEET, AWESOME, SUPER COOL land claim!

Bottom line I thought it was nice of you to help the few times people had questions and that the admins could not talk. but you should not judge with out knowing whats going on.

Answering as many questions as possible has been hardcoded into my head after years as a Guild Wars officer.
Sorry if it sounded like I was trying expose corruption or something, it was just relevant and I tried to make it sound anti-judgmental (although calling everyone lazy Pigmen was also a nice option)

its ok garquille i understand what you were saying. its ok. brad hope too see things on the land claim. and your always welcome here. dont worry about alpha. if we go back to it for some reason we will explain how to get back to it. but we wont revert to alpha anytime soon.

I had something started, then I went cave exploring for materials. Later on, Loplop95 came down after I found my 1st diamond. We hung out all around that huge cave system for a while, then we went back to his home and hung out with a few others. We had a little tour and played Spleef. I gotta say, I had a lot of fun, and I did get plenty of attention. So it was kind of like a little party at Loplop95's home. i shall go ahead and finish the house I started on.
