I talked to Bige22 about his train station before. He says that I could finish renovating the tunnels by adding track boosters.

new stations guys.. when was permission given for those?

ahh ok ok.... i suppose its ok but please ask bird before had as always.

Yeah, I did mine before I knew any better, but went back and redid it according to the specs, and have been helping to refurb areas of the nw subway i have access to that were broken (boosters not working, etc). I also designed a 4-way roundabout switch that presents 2 buttons at each branch (Take this branch, continue to next branch) and auto-bypasses them for someone coming into the switch (so it doesn't ask if they want to go the same way they just came from, unless they cycle around 1 complete pass). I think ColaPhoenix wanted a station for his harbor, since his property adjoins mine I figured that wouldn't be a problem.

I was told to ask Chsbd about a station, he said ok, and even helped me make it.
Bird has been to my station a few times, and didn't tell me to demo it, so I guess it's fine... It was the end of the subway anyway.

I have a station dug up but not finished or tracks layed out. This it because of 2 reasons...

1) The downtown region needs to get an organised structure of what stations will exist. I'm not all that confident about digging under other ppl's land and possible new claims.

2) I was hoping to have some sort of format with stations that everyone had to follow. That was from Bird's thread.

Still, very nice adaptation. i'd be fooled the blue route was the Victoria Line. :)

i would like to see this.. could you post coordinates?

I'm just about done developing a compact proper T-intersection that works right. As soon as I can get that working right, I'm going to implement it on all subway intersections.

ive got a new interchange up and running, im just in progress of implementing them across the subway. Anyone who wants to take a look, the two complete ones are the ones heading to IndigoAura off of the main subway line. Easy way to get to them to take a look: Walk from the TTC along the subway (or ride the track) towards indigo.

Nice, I'm so going to check that out right now.

Where is the TTC?

TTC is in uptown, across from the days inn. You'll see a sign that sais TTC in cobblestone on the top.

EDIT:

I just check it, and it doesn't seem to work right. When you push the button to go the rabbit hole, the track turns the right way, then turns back to indigo castle. I'm not sure if you know this or not.

I think I could fix that. All you need to do is set it up so it loops without delay before you send the signal to the track, and break that loop with another button, or better, a detector rail when you're over the intersection. I've done this before with my alarm system which is activated via pressure pad.

Here's a minedraft of the loop thing...
http://bit.ly/pRjegu

The switch on the left should be a button or a pressure plate, the switch at the top of the schematic should be the reset button/plate.
I came up with this idea by myself, so if you need any help, just ask me.

Good work on the map =] Very Beck like, will it work like Beck's? As with expansion with more and more stations will you be able to have room for the additional stations and have a less geographically accurate map and more a topology as with a subway, it's more about just knowing which stop you want to get off at rather than the location your at. Anyway I'm rambling, again good job =]

It was working just fine the other day, most likely someone messed with it.

What you have is an RS NOR latch. I think he was avoiding using a latch because it means more redstone and there will be lots of stations.

yea it was working fine the other day, i might just need to extend the pulse a little bit or change the orientation of a torch (put in a diode).

detector rail when you're over the intersection. I've done this before with my alarm system which is activated via pressure pad.

a detector rail wouldn't work because almost every piece of track is used by more than one direction, plus the redstone underneath would get in the way

I have no idea what Beck's map is...

once i have all the interchanges done, im going to put in a bit of standardization at the stations. IE: two groups of signs at each station, one that lists all of the stations towards the TTC from that station, another that lists all of the stations towards the rabbit hole (nickname for the 'end of the line')
